On an official Google Business blog, it stated that currently it is on a beta version and there is a invite only registration. Google is specially focusing on Small Business as some research shows more than 55% of small business do not have one.

One thing to note is that it is providing only the domain name registration. For everything else, it has partnered with Squarespace, Shopify, Wix and Weebly. Another good thing about Google domain is that, it has promised not to charge anything extra to keep the privacy of the user on the domain name.

Google has been domination web with all kinds of applications and now with this Domain name service it is expected to be a great competition for domain name giants such as GoDaddy. It may take some time for Google to come out of the beta so until then we wait for it to open to the public. You can check about the Google domain by going to this link
